Material Handler

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Oversee receiving activities of Material Handlers I, II and III.
• Plan daily work tasks, monitor flow
• Unload and load trailers/trucks/bins
• Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices
• Prepare and maintain records of received goods.
• Inventory control responsibilities including cycle counting
• Working with Materials Manager, develop training/coaching programs as needed for staff.
• Writes corrective action reports for claims against the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned

 OTHER SKILLS:

• Flexibility and ability to work with competing priorities
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds, stand for long periods, bend and twist
• Ability to lead and motivate staff
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a very busy and stressful environment
• Familiar with MS Office products, Oracle, Windows applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Forklift certified, pallet jack operations
• First aid knowledge desirable.
• Bi-lingual helpful.
